Are you in Quertaro?

Are you a 20-something norteamericano English teacher? Do you like to do things on weekends?

I fit that description. I've been here for a year, working at the Shamrock Institute in Jurica, and I like Quertaro a lot, but I'm having trouble with my weekend social planning. The fat novels I check out from the San Miguel library are some help, but Graham Greene and Simpsons reruns on cable get old eventually.

I've got a lot of Mexican friends, but the problem is that all of them are from Guanajuato and they go home to see their families every single weekend. I try to talk them out of this, but they insist that their families will kill them if they stay away for ten days. I work at an English school with some other gringos, but they're all married with kids and that gets in the way of being at a bar at 4 or 6 a.m.

Plus, as much as I love my Mexican cuates, it is nice to speak English to someone who understands where you come from sometimes.

So...I want to meet some other gringo English teachers with similar interests. This seemed like a good quick way to contact them.

If you're interested in getting together some time to hang out, pm me.

Ethan
