For my Christmas vacation from Korea, me and friends are popping over to Thailand for a few weeks, and were thinking about going to the Similan Islands.

Does anyone have any experience of staying there at this time of year?

It's a great place.

Went there once a few years ago.

I snorkelled at one of the islands (near Duck Island - there are quite a few small islands that make up the chain).

I saw some really cool fish!
