I am thinking about traveling home during the next Eid break on a one-way ticket and then coming back on an open-ended return ticket (cash-in some of my air miles )...that way, next summer, my ticket is basically taken care of and the school travel stipend can be pocketed ...any problems traveling out of Dubai or Abu Dhabi on a one-way ticket...haven't tried it before...thanks! |

Are you working in the Emirates now? I would ask my travel agent if I were there or perhaps the airline. It didn't use to be a problem, but these days rules tend to be fluid...

I don't think it would be a problem. The best person to check it out would probably be the travel organiser where you work - assuming there is one. Travel agents would probably all give different answers. |

You can fly out of any country (on a one-way) without problems...
The country you would need to check with would be the country you are flying TO. Since you say it is your home country there isn't any problem. |
