It would be very useful to me (and perhaps to others also) if any of you could just post the names of any Chinese universities where your experience with the FAO and the school in general have been positive. Thanks .... Michael |

My university is an also-ran among CHina's top tertiary institutions; rapport with my FAO is outstandingly good. He cares about how you feel. |

I don't need to invent anything nor myself - but it's true, I am not willing to name my employer publicly. It is a university smack in the middle of an expat short list of China's best universities comprising 150 establishments.
If the OP wants to know more, he or she is free to contact me privately!
I have said time and again in this forum that my FAO is an extremely dependable, friendly one! The best I have had in several years! |

I guess that "they" are a bunch of idiots. Cut the speculation and deal with the facts. Good people have been wronged. |

Well, lets make it a second. But really you've got me puzzled. :? Anyway they say it's a good place or is the point that it's not. |

have you read the above posts? If so, what exactly are you having difficulty with? No, this isn't a good place to work (sorry to disagree with "they"). Would you like anything else spelled out for you? |

you've got me confused. I thought you were complaining about Harbin Engineering University. I think maybe you're not reading the Chinese very well. It says "Guangdong" - not Harbin. Guangdong Industrial University. Maybe Guangdong Engineering University. Not quite sure but any Chinese can tell you. I'll check.
No. it translates itself as "Guangdong University of Technology"
GUANGDONG UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY
FOREIGN AFFAIRS OFFICE (FAO)
OFFICE FOR HONG KONG, MACAO AND TAIWAN AFFAIRS (OHMT)
