 Should I apply to places and tell them this or should I leave it til November?

 did you mean 'until' instead of 'unless'?

				| I think only really big schools/companies/agencies (e.g., the JET program in Japan) have such a long application process. With most places, if you apply now, they will assume you are ready now-ish (meaning within a couple of months at most).
