Quick question!

I have less than 3 months on my passport. My school want me to get a non im B.

Will the officials (Malaysia / Loas) give me the non im B?

Hello Potters

According to the Thailand Ministry of Foreign Affairs website:

"passport with validity not less than six months"

link: http://www.mfa.go.th/web/12.php

II. Categories of Visa

2.1 Non-Immigrant visa (category B Business) can be obtained from
all Thai Embassies and Consulates provided that the following relevant
documents are submitted.

Foreigners who wish to work in Thailand

- Visa application Form completely filled out
- Applicants passport with validity not less than six months and its copy
- Two 4x6 cm. full-faced, bareheaded photos taken within the past six months
- Letter of acceptance from the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare

In plain English:

Get yourself to the nearest Embassy for a new passport! Wink

Also there's no point getting it even if you could as you'd only have to transfer and extend when you got a new passport anyway (so it would end up costing you more money in the long run even if you did have enough time on it, or they gave you one regardless of the 'rules').
