Hi, my name's Alex. I'm a 24 year old college graduate from the US. I am a native English speaker. English is the only language I am fluent in although I have studied French and Spanish. I have never been abroad (sadly) but I since I have now saved up a bundle and have absolutely no debts, I'm itching to go.

I have recently completed the Bridge Linguatec online certification course (I understand online certs are not recommended but that's where I'm at). Right now I'm looking to apply for the Job Placement service offered on the site. I am wondering if anyone else on the board is familiar with or has used the service. Are the accomodations, the in country orientation and the return airfare worth the cost of applying?

Another alternative I might try is the Footprints recruiting program.

I'm looking into TEFL because I want to explore teaching as a possible career and because I'm looking for an experience abroad that's more rewarding than the standard tourist/partier fare.

Any thoughts/advice/answers would be appreciated.

P.S. I have no teaching experience. How can I mitigate this when writing my resume?
