Hey all,

Would anyone know what it cost to go skiing in Zakopane. I mean the complete deal. Cost of a low to mid range hotel, ski rental and lift tickets for three days, at the end of January.

Thanks for any help and advice

I don't know what you call them but there are houses/hotels just outside the city where you can rent a room for 20zl/day but you will likely be sharing a bathroom with people you don't know and the rooms are pretty small. I believe breakfast/dinner is included in that cost. I only went for weekend trips but all equipment was about 100 zl for the weekend. Instruction from an English speaking instructor were roughly 100 zl/hour.

If you want to stay right in the city, I don't know how much a room would be there but there are signs everywhere.

If you're looking to cut costs, go across the border to Slavakia. If it's atmosphere you're looking for, definitely Zakopane.

sorry, but I don't know how much a train is. I took a car.

I could probably find out a little more from you from my former employer if you're still interested, email me at [email protected]
