Hi Guys,
I'm planning on moving to Chile in early March. I want to teach, but am not certified. I have a college degree, a little experience with teaching, and am a native english speaker. What do you think my chances are of finding work? Thanks for your help!

Hey Kanuph!

Personally I think that your best chances are to get to Santiago and find places via internet, yellowpages, and word of mouth. A lot of places and contacts I found through meeting people around Santiago. I have a list of schools too (I think most of them in Santiago), so if you want, just email me and I can send you it! [email protected]

Chau! Smiles!

Thanks so much luvqtpie! This is exactly what I plan to do. I'm arriving in Santiago on or around March 4th. I hope to find as many places as I can that first week. I already have a large list of institutes and their addresses that I found at gringo.com. Have you hear of this site? Is it legit, I wonder. Anything else you would like to tell me to prep me before I leave?? Thanks for your help!

Are you sure that it's Gringo.com? When I went there, it was just a generic spam page.
