I've been living in Shanghai since January 2002. I worked for a school in Qingpu (1hour west) for 15 months commuting by teacher's bus (only foreigner) almost daily (stayed over one night a week at school).
My Z visa was valid with my contract (April 2002-Jume 30 2003). I am going to HK this weekend to get an F-visa. Although my apts. in Shanghai (yes,rented with the Z visa, but landlady's cool about continuing) i am not sure how to practically find a good school to teach 'hourly'.
So I will begin to look for work on this F visa in SHanghai. Anyone who's done it or doing it want to give me some leads of schools that tend to hire QUALIFIED teachers (I have a BA in English and 10 years international teaching experience, as well as 15 months at a Chinese Middle school)with or without a proper visa?
