hello all,

i am currently teaching in seoul, and need out! i am almost done my contract here and am considering heading to hong kong for the next year... i am in the preliminary stages of my research, and i just need some general info... is there anyone out there in HK that has experienced life in Korea and can give me a bit of a comparison?
i'm interested in general info about:

-types of schools (and their owners! i am trying ot stay away from anything that closely resembles the millions of sketchy korean hagwans, and their owners!)
-wages and opportunities for tutoring (illegal here in korea yet still a large source of income)
-city life/lifestyle... i hear hong kong is full of the charm that korea is lacking... tell me it's true!?

i have one year of teaching experience in korea, several bits and pieces of years from back in canada, a 4 year bachelor degree, but no formal teaching certificate. the main reason i am staying in asia is to keep paying off student loans, so money is one of the most important things to me now...

any advice you have on making the switch would be greatly appreciated!!
