I am in China teaching for a accreditted Canadian school that pays the salary over 12 months for teaching 10 months. I have quit- I had some health issues. I am asking them if they will pay me for half of the money they have held for summer pay since I feel I have earned half my salary at this point - half way through the year.
Anyways the contract is vague and does not say but I have heard I am entitled to this money that is withheld. They save it for the summer. I have taught half the year so I am wondering if anyone else has had this situation? Will the labour board of a country help out in this kind of case?
Thanks if you have advice. |
