Hi-
I've been living in Singapore for around 18 years as a teacher in an international school, and in a few months will leave that school to try something different. I'm American, and a Permanent Resident in Singapore. Among the several options I have, one is to open up a small language school or tuition agency for teaching ESL, but also open to other possible subjects. I might be the only teacher in this agency, or it could be a small group of teachers. I have little idea of how one goes about this, and whether the success rate is high or low. Any insight into this would be appreciated. Has anyone ever had the same desire? Your frank comments are appreciated.
