I've been in Shanghai for about a month now and I going to be studying Chinese full time for at least six months, starting after the holiday period.
Whilst studying, I'd like to make some money teaching English, something I did full time for a year last year in Japan. I've been looking at part-time jobs in companies in Shanghai, but I'd also like to find work teaching privately. Do anyone know any good means by which one can find students and how much one should get paid for this kind of work? I mean are there any websites or magazines which are good means by which are good for the purpose?
Any general advice about teaching privately would also be gratefully received.
Thanks in advance,
