Hi all. Hope you're all enjoying CNY. While here I am in Australia, trying to make the big decision about a PNET job in HK. I've received a provisional offer from the Cheung Chau Fisheries Joint Association Primary School and wondered if anyone knows anything about it or its partner school CC Church Kam Kong Primary. I realise it's a bad time to ask, given a lot of people are on hols. But I have to respond by 2 Feb, so I'd be grateful for any info.
Cheers,
Michele |

I cannot tell you how working in one of the schools named is likely to work out but I can tell you I would love a job in CHeung Chau if I was given the choice of working in a HK community!
I spent several months on CHeung Chau (on and off); it's a tiny island but full of life as it is home to thousands of commuters that travel to and fro by ferry. There are no cars on the island, yet the place is self-contained so that you won't have to do shopping in HK or Kowloon!
IT's great to be so near a vibrant ncity, yet so distant and removed from the pollution and congestion!
Great place to do sports of all kinds such as jogging and swimming! The little town looks a bit like a mediterranean place. |
