Hi Minnasan,
am coming from the Middle East so I am having problems finding hotel or ryokan near Kurihama. I am paid up to do the Tateyama Marathon at the south end of Chiba (Bouso ??) Penninsula this Sunday so trying to stay as close as I can
(...case I gotta crawl to my room ). So Kurihama is where you get the ferry across,ne.? So how do I search for a room (prefer internet). Is Kanazawa (south of Yokohama) the nearest city? I see at Livedoor.com map theres is another city south of that "Yoko-...nantoka"..dont know the Kanji. Help anyone? Chisai hoteru mo daijobu yo! Language not a problem either.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated... If you need advice for Yuki Matsuri etc. , please contact me !
Yellah, Shebab! ...and Shebabettes, time to feed the camels. gotta go

Yep, you take the Tokyo-wan ferry to Kanaya on the Chiba side, which takes about 20-30 mins- it's still about a half hour train ride down to the end of the Boso peninsula after that though- are you sure you want to be that far away?
If you're set on staying on the Kanagawa side, the Yoko-nantoka city you refer to is almost certainly Yokosuka- famous for its US navy base. It's a decent sized city and should have plenty of accommodation, Kurihama would be more peaceful if you can get accom there though. |
