I'm interested in taking either a Cambridge Celta, Trinity Celta or Tefl corse in Barcalona. Does anyone have any experiences with these or any helpful advice in which one to take? Are there any that are better than others?
Thank you |

I'm going to shamelessly recommend the program I work for! The SIT SpainTESOL program in Barcelona really is a great program (I thought so even before I started working here ). SIT is a very well-respected university in the states so their name carries a lot of weight, and people have been very happy with our training. Another benefit of doing the program with us if you're planning on staying in Barcelona to teach is that Langage, the school which hosts SpainTESOL, has been in business here since 1977 and has great contacts with other language academies, so we get requests all the time from local schools interested in hiring our graduates. I won't go on and on about it here but if you'd like more information feel free to get in touch with me at [email protected] or check out the website at www.spaintesol.com
Good luck with your research.

I did my TEFL at Oxford House College, Barcelona:

I can't say how it rates with other courses but the tutors were great, the course was interesting, and I met tons of nice people. You get a Trinity College Certificate at the end of it. I haven't been out of work since I did it back in 1999. |
