Does anyone know of the Pinghu Foreign Language School in Pinghu which is 90 minutes north of Shenzhen in Longgang.
Or has anyone actually taught out there. I have been offered a job there and just trying to get some more information.

Also has anyone heard of or had dealings with Homeland Recruiting. Its an agency in Futian Shenzhen. The mans name is Tim Yu.

Any information on either of these questions wouldbe gratefully appreciated

Tim Yu has been around for a long time. It's his business and it's how he makes a living. He is very aggressive and very good at getting people as close to what they want as possible. But he is all business, all business, and you need to ask as many questions as possible until you are comfortable.

His agency is particularly strong in southern and south central China. He covers both private language schools and public schools. I have worked with him on-and-off for several years.

I don't know that agent - but in Shenzhen you shouldn't have to enlist their services anyway! - though I do know Longgang. Pinghu? Don't know.

Longgang is a town outside of Shenzhen; it takes anywhere from one to two hours by bus from Luohu centre (the Shenzhen train station) to get there - the road past Donghu is 2-lane and always heavily-clogged.

I wouldn't want to be based in that hellhole, man!
