I have a cell phone (motorola startac) which I bought in Korea. Will it work in Thailand? Or am I better off selling it here?
Also, my employer is willing to buy me a ticket to Thailand, but it will be only a one way ticket, will that cause any problems upon entering Thailand?
I'll either get non immigrant B visa, or will go for a tourist visa stamp at the border. |

^ You might be okay (and most likely will be) with just a 30 day stamp in (which isn't actually a tourist stamp), but to be 100% sure you need a Non-imm B or a 60 day proper tourist Visa. |

Yeah, last time I flew in from Vietnam on a one-way ticket I just got a 30-day stamp and it was no problem. You can also do visa on arrival, but it takes a long time.
As far as the phone goes, I'm no expert, but why wouldn't it. Just get a Sim card for Thailand. Right, everybody? |
