My back and neck have been hurting me for a while now, and it occurred to me that what I really need is a massage. A couple of years ago I had a vacuum cupping massage which was absolutely unbelievable. Of course, as everyone knows, finding a good masseur/massues is a tricky matter, complicated by frequent misunderstandings.

If anyone has had a massage here, can recommend someone and has some idea of the rates charged I'd really appreciate it.

cheers,

My mother-in-law is a licensed masseuse, but she lives in the Province, in San Antonio de Padua. It's about 20 kilometers west of downtown, so it likely isn't convenient for you. From Once, you take the train for about an hour and 15 minutes on the Sarmiento line, get off at S.A. de Padua, then take a bus (or walk) 10 blocks. Also, she doesn't speak any English.

She charges 20 pesos/hour. I think she only has 2 or 3 clients a week; the price is just too expensive for your average Argentinean living in her neigborhood.

She has given me many massages, and I really enjoyed them, although those are the only professional massages I have ever recieved, so I can't compare them to anything.

Let me know if you want her contact info...

Jason
