Post Grad study in West any ideas?
Im trying to give advice to my students thinking of studying in Western (English-speaking countries).
Any thoughts, experiences that can help? Best countries, institutions, courses i.e. a masters level qualification or a lesser post grad diploma?
In particular interested in views of cost benefit - especially enhanced job prospects on return. |

I am from the UK and I think the prospects of post grad study are good there. However, the US is also good. The better grade the university often goes in hand with better prospects. The prospects of jobs in England are not bad but I wouldn't know on the return to Taiwan. The ability to speak better English would put you in a higher earning salary bracket in Taiwan.
Foreign students in England pay a much higher price of course. You'll need big money if you want Cambridge and the likes.
Good luck.

Thanks Shaun
Status of university (foreign or domestic) seems to be a big issue with Chinese. |
