Just a question seeing as Poland is now in the EU. Who thinks Poland will enter the Euro and who doesn't? I personally hope they don't.

Let's see. What happened when the Germans and the Dutch adopted that currency? Prices went sky high. Most places merely changed the sign without adjusting the price. Example- a beer in Amsterdam that was 4 guilders is now 4 euros. Can you imagine that in Poland? I think not. Besides, with any luck it is dead.

Poland has plans to adopt the Euro once it has the economic fundamentals in place. That means that all those working for IH will be really fcuked.

Not just Germany and the Netherlands, I am told in Spain things got more expensive. I am told many Poles love the new EU and are exited to be a part of it'is this true or is it just their government?

To revive this thread - News this week projects Poland not adopting the euro until 2010. Considering Im just about to take out a mortgage, how will this affect the currency Im thinking of (is Swiss Francs really the deal it seems to be?)
