My girlfriend and I are looking at moving to Taiwan and we want to live on a coastline. Any advice?
Basically we're leaving Seoul and kinda want to get away from all the hustle and bustle of a big city. A coastline with surfing would be a plus... |

I-lan would be a good choice. YOu can surf there. Hualien and Taitung are the other spots that might be worth a look. Beaches on the west coast aren't really worth considering.
Kending at the southern tip of Taiwan also has good beaches, but the nearest major cities -- Kaohsiung and Pingdong -- are a couple of hours away. |
