Now that MLI has gone, I was wondering what has happened or happening to all the former MLI resources:
. the LRC - after all the time and effort in setting it up by a dedicated group of teachers and staff
. First Class
. Outreach Centers
. computers and equipment
. the set texts - and all that money that was spent on "New Interchange" and then "Cutting Edge" and "Campaign" and previous preceding texts
. the former MLI teachers
and finally ......
the broken promises made to the MLI teachers ....... |

I have one more question. Whatever happened to the "communacative approach"? I remember once being strenly rebuked by my coodrdinator for having the temerity to introduce demonstrative pronouns to my class.
I wonder whatever happened to that guy. I guess he's back at MIT shooting the breeze with Chomsky. |

MLI gone........
MLI Teachers most have gone........
Uncle Billy gone .......
and now some of the former MLI Co-ordinators apparently gone ......
Will the MLI "phoenix" rise out of the "ashes" or rather desert sand?
