Hello,
I think I have decided to persue a job in Taiwan, but I think I'd really like to get one of those cushy uni jobs. It's been awhile since I've had a salary or vacation time....
So, can anyone give me some advice? I have a B.A. and an M.A., and 3 years teaching experience (2 years at an American Uni, 1 at a Turkish language school), so I think I'm qualified...
When should I start looking? Where should I look? When will I have to be there? My contract ends here in early July, but I'd like a couple months off... Are there any universities in Taichung? (I heard it's very nice there). What should I know about getting a visa?
Any information you all can give me about teaching at Taiwanese unis would be appreciated. Thanks a lot! |
