Sad but true, I have recently been overwhelmed by incredible boredom, (or is it sadness the snow is melting...)and I can't seem to snap myself out of it. I like teaching kids (strange but true), and most days I like Turkey, too. But facing yet another term of teaching "Can you jump?" I feel myself becoming more stupified by the day.
Usual solutions would be week long benders - nothing like being too drunk to see to make things more challenging! or imagining everybody naked, or other fun mental tricks... sadly, as a mom and a teacher, week long benders and imanging my sts naked seem like not very good solutions....

Hey, so how to make going to work interesting, knowing that you are faced with "can you fart?" day after day?

As I am also a Mom and teacher, I hear you loud and clear!

Sounds like you need a hobby to help you forget about work a little.

And if you are already imagining your students naked, and you teach children... Shocked EEEWWWWWW!!

BEWARE the path you have fallen upon! Boredom and stress may dispatch an ESL instructor to a dark place from which she may never return!!

Look what happened to a stressed out, bored American bus driver!
Quote:
Pennsylvania (AP) -- A transit bus driver grabbed a woman by the hair, knocked her head into a pole, opened the door and tossed her into traffic after she yelled at him for missing her stop, police said.

The 52-year-old woman, who was not identified, suffered a broken shoulder.

Bus driver Mario Edney, 53, was arraigned Thursday on aggravated assault and other charges, said Officer Jillian Russell, a police spokeswoman. He was being held on $2,000 bail.

Edney said he had to skip the woman's stop Wednesday morning because of a detour, police said.

HEED MY WORDS!! Wink Today it's "Can you fart?", tomorrow it's "Can you fly out the window?"!!!
