I want to work and travel in Asia initially but possibly Australasia/South America too. I am a native speaker and university graduate with some English teaching experience but no formal qualifications.

Which qualification is more useful when applying for jobs?
Can anyone recommend any good, recognised courses in Asia?
My friend did his TEFL? in Bangkok and said it was good but then others have told me this course isn't rated particularly highly and I should investigate further.

Any suggestions/recommendations?

This question can often start a firestorm between the TEFL Cert folks and the CELTA folks! But . . . I would recommend that you think about the issues yourself.
