Hi everyone,

I recently interviewed with ET and hope to start working there at the end of the year. I was wondering if anyone has any info (or dirt) on the different branches? I know that the one in Sirinevler needs teachers, but I've heard that the building is unstable after an earthquake in '99 and it's in a suburban area, which is not what I'm looking for.

And yes, I know all about the controversy surrounding ET so no need to go into all that 'cause I'm not looking to be dissuaded.

Thanks!

Cheers Very Happy

It is not true that the building is not stable after the earthquake. It is solid. The bulding that used to be in was damaged but not substantially, and the building it is in now is strong. Yes, it is in a suburban area, but it is only about half an hour into the centre of the city.

Then why ask for the 'dirt.'

Anyway if u know all about the controversy, don't know what dirt u r interested in. But I will say stay to Hell away from the Taksim branch, that's as demotivating an environment as you will find.

I guess what I meant was if anyone has any "dirt" on the branches that hasn't been discussed and is more about the nuances or quirks of the way things are run at the various branches. Maybe "dirt" wasn't the best word Confused

Anyway, thanks Molly for letting me know that. I guess half an hour from the city centre isn't bad. I commute 40 minutes by bus to work now so I could probably handle that. How's the bus system?
