Hi, I'm a Canadian who wants to live and work in HK. Does anyone know how I can get in touch with any schools? I've heard of Deborah's but there are so many horror stories about that place. I have a four year BA and taught 4 months at a Chinese university. I was in HK for about a month last year and fell in love with it. How can I get a job there!?
Thanks for the help guys! |

Hi there!
If you'd like to teach in primary / secondary school, you can try your luck with EMB's NET Scheme (http://www.emb.gov.hk/index.aspx?nodeID=262&langno=1).
You may contact those schools who post recruitment ad as well. Have a look at these 2 websites, they're good:
Classified Post - http://www.classifiedpost.com/jshome.php
Career Times - http://www.careertimes.com.hk/english/search/criteria.asp?browser=ie
If you wanna teach in tertiary institutions, there're lots of opportunities as well!!
Let me know if you need further help. I maybe able to help!
Cheers, Blom |
