Are there any CELTA training programs in Phuket ?

Cost/links/names, pelase ?

I've been teaching English in Japan the last 5 years.
I'm considering moving to Thailand (or any warm country with good SCUBA) and continuing as an English teacher if the cost-of-living-versus-salary equation balances well.

I haven't gotten a CELTA yet, because one doesn't take month-long vacations from work in Japan. CELTA courses are that long, yes ?

However, a month-long course might give me an excuse to come to Phuket, talk to English teachers there, and see what living there is like.

One school you may want to try is the TTT Language School in Chalong, Phuket. 07-6280869. I know they have TESOL/TEFL courses and they are surrounded by about 4 or 5 dive shops. Many people come to Chalong for the diving and maybe you could do both! Good luck.
