|
|
This might be an annual question: Does anyone have suggestions re good places to see the Superbowl in Istanbul (I mean, its being played in Jacksonville, but... damn it, you know what I mean...)? I think it might be played in the middle of the night, so even a delayed broadcast would be cool-- beggars can't be choosers. I've heard that it's aired on regular broadcast TV, but a few weeks after the event.
I know there must be a few folks out there who care. Any ideas?

Entrailicus, props on using the ugliest album cover of all time for your avatar.
(Or maybe not-- check the pitchfork music site for a list of others...)
In regards to joining the "Questions for Men..." thread, I hesitate to stick my toe into that mess. It's a free-for-all spanning time and space, threatening to suck everything into its vortex of testosterone.

...uh, I guess the Superbowl's being played in Detroit, not Jacksonville, as I wrote before. Wouldn't want to upset any of the resident trolls with misinformation. Not that the measly little wimps know anything about (grrrrrrrr!) AMERICAN FOOTBALL!!!!!
One love, people... |

Have you ever been in the army ? .. or thought about joining ?
Anyway ... thought you had earlier apologised to your fellow users for feeding trolls
Is (grrrr) Amercian football that game where the players dress in shoulder pads, make-up their eyes, and hop about in skimpy tights
If so, it gives an extra dimension to understanding why so many fans of the game find an art like ballet so unappealing ... the dancers are dressed far too masculinely |

Playing the great American game is so much better than racing camels in a dress and walking around smelling like camel nuts. |

Can you tell me why, in Aussie rules, there is always a butcher selling pork-chops on the side-lines ... do spectators bbq in the stands or something ... |

Is there?
Every game should have that in my opinion. Especially figure skating. |

You know the guy ... the camera pans to him each time the ball goes through those tall sticks in the ground ... and as though to celebrate he cuts another chop ... |
