I would like to hear some people on their experiences with employees who ratted out other employees.
A story that sticks out in my mind was a few years ago at Shane language school. A group of teachers were trying to form a union, and one of the teachers decided to rat out the other guys. So, they all got fired and the rat got promoted to management.
Ratting out is significant way for teachers to secure their jobs and get promotions, so I hope others will share their stories. |

Never grassed on anyone.
A teacher at a client school grassed on mate and I to our company for covering eachother to miss work. He ended up quitting and my contract wasn't renewed, befitting my plan. |

Speaking of rats, there seems to be a lot of them in Saitama. Both TRILS and RCS rely on teachers ratting on other teachers. They probably couldn't survive without it. It's as if their founders missed Organizational Behavior 101 at the mail order Saitama School of Managment.

Within one year, more than half the employees had quit or been fired. By the end of the year, only the owners right hand man, the rat, remained.
The TRILS United Branch was the first declared union branch at an ALT outsourcing company. The hardest thing to deal with in organizing at a company is the fear that prevails over employees and the practice of management pitting one employee against another. One employee at TRILS often wondered why the salary for ALTs was decreasing while he ratted out his fellow employees. |
