Hi
I'll be in Krakow in a few days, doing the rounds with my CV. Through email, though, I've just been offered a job with York School in Krakow. Does anyone have any experiences - good or bad - about York?
I've trawled the posts; there wasn't much there.
Thanks for any help.
Cheers

I had heard some bad things a few years ago but I believe it has imrpoved since then.
If it's your only option then I'd take the job. The only problem is, as I understand it, they have Poles teach the grammar and natives teach the "fun" stuff.
This may sound cool in the beginning but on the other hand how is a native going to learn to teach grammar without doing it?
If you're planning on teaching for more than a year then I would recommend trying to find a job elsewhere. |

Thanks for the advice. Yes, I am in this for the long haul so the "fun" stuff would be boring pretty quickly! Anyway, interview next week. I'll let you know how it goes.
JetSet, I'll PM you.
