| Just wondering whether the British council run program for English Language Asssistants is any good. Sounds similar to the JET Scheme but for secondary schools in China. Anyone know of any good experiences themselves or from friends? Whats the application process like? Is it popular/tough to get on it!?! |

This is only my third post so I don't if I'm being over-sensitive but why has nobody answered my question? Either its a daft question, has been covered in another post (if it has can somebody please give me a link 'coz I can't find it) or nobody's heard of the program?!
This is partly a moan but I'm also secretly hoping it'll make my post look a bit more popular and so get a response! Please help! |

| I think there are very few people doing it in China. I met some young (rather attractive) females who were on this programme , but it was the first time I'd heard about it. We didn't actually discuss their experiences, but the fact they didn't bitch about things might mean something. If you are posted in Beijing, I think you get the chance to earn extra money invigilating BC exams. |
