For someone relatively new to this, I too have been wondering which way to go.

I have a varied educational background:

BS Education
MS Communication Education and Mass Media Technology
MA English (This May)

I've taught high school (one term for BS degree)
I've taught College (one term: Public Speaking)
I also taught almost a year at a local library where i attend university, it was volunteer but it was good experience teaching computer software (microsoft office) to adults of varied ages.

and i worked with children at summer camp from the time i was 14 till i was 27.

With such a variety of education and experience, would i even be qualified to teach overseas?

Well, if you're a native English speaker and you've ever worked for McDonald's or Starbucks, you can teach for English First! Confused

Yeah, sure, with your qualifications you're a shoe-in for most TEFL work overseas. Pick a country you're interested in, and start checking out the forum for that place.
