Does anyone know if it's possible to bring pets to Chile? I don't have any idea what the quarantine rules are, etc. Thanks! |

My experience was with a cat, fwiw. As of april 2004, definitely possible, no quarantine. Your pet needs to have been innoculated against rabies more than 1 month and less than 1 year prior to travelling. Even though we have a multi-year rabies shot in the states. There are some papers you have to get. Saw you are in DC, Adam's Morgan Animal Clinic (on about 18th and California) did the paperwork for me.
The SAG website has more info, but don't try calling anyone, they never answer. www.sag.cl
The airlines may have some other regs as well, I can't remember. |
