I'm just about finish my TEFL diploma course and I'm planning to go to Thailand in a few weeks. Here's my problem: I have a college degree from Canada, but not a BA. Is there any way for me to get a teaching job in Thailand without a BA? I don't really care about the money, I just want to gain the experience so I can teach elsewhere.
Any advice for a eager first-timer will be greatly appreciated. |

| It might help if you give a little more information about exactly what kind of degree you have. Providing that you have a Bachelors degree from a recognised university it should be OK. The requirement is usually for a degree in any discipline. It doesn't have to be a B.A. |

I think the OP is worried that the 3 year Canadian College Diploma
is not always accepted by MOEs in every country as
being "equal to" a 4 year degree.
Imho;
having a verifiable college diploma of any sort should suffice at Thai MOE.
Personally, I would not mention that your diploma is only 3 years,
unless specifically asked, which is rather unlikely.
Keep your eye on the 3 websites below &
give it your best shot, would be my advice!

You'll get work no problem mate.
Brit degrees are generally only three years as well, you'll be fine. |
