Seems natural to do it here, and when many newbies ask me about it, I say border hopping is common. BUt how many of you do it or have done it? I personally would be afraid to even try. |

While I might have done such things in my younger years, it looks pretty unstable where I am now. As in Ecuador they stamp entrance and exit in your passport, it's too easy for them to know how long you've been here, and a tourist visa is only available for six months out of any given 12 month period.
Under the table seems to work for people staying less than six months, but border runs won't help you extend it.
