Hi Folks!
I have been made an offer by Woody Ding at TDM (I will not mention salary etc) but, before accepting this, I am keen to hear about experiences with TDM.
Has anyone worked there recently?
*Are the kids interested in learning?
*Was the focus on North American Standard English a problem/put off for any UK/Ireland/Aust./NZ/S. African/other teachers? (I'm British).
*Are classes huge?
*Are the textbooks noted in the Policy document adhered to rigidly? Can I be creative in my lessons?
*Were you sent to teach in other offices/schools? I understand that this can happen
*Was adequate assistance given with the Z visa application?
*Was the 'hotel' accommodation ok/dirty/difficult as there was no kitchen?
*Is Wuhan a decent city to live in?
*Was you salary good enough to enable you to save some money for home?
*Are Chinese classes readily available/good/cheap in Wuhan? Where did you learn Mandarin (if you chose to)?
*Were salaries paid on time?
*Were overtime hours paid as agreed?
Many thanks in advance from the UK
