Hello! I am a teacher at a primary school in Shanghai. My boss told me some of the Korean students parents are interested in having me tutor their children. I will be tutoring six Korean students for 1.5 hours a week. What is a fair wage to ask for? Thanks -J |

Apparently, the going rate is around 40 000 won in Korea (around $40) an hour. This is illegal to do in Korea, so that might add to the cost. I doubt the Korean parents would jump out of their pants if you asked for $20 though. |
