Well whats the chances of gaining a foot in the door, no CELTA though.
I'm guessing this is more appropiate.
After clean advice, no tesol bashing. |

Better if you don't make any common and basic errors in your application, for example regarding the use of apostrophes or agreement between verb and subject
What are the chances/What's the chance...?
also "appropriate"
Not sure exactly but you have pretty much shot yourself in the foot as far as being offered a job or recommended by some of the more experienced teachers here - some of whom often recommend or hire other teachers who they have bumped into on Dave's - is concerned by telling them all that they know nothing when they were trying to give you advice... |

So, despite all the advice you're picking the option to pay someone 400-595 to find you a job which is badly paid and isn't even guaranteed to be in the city you want (with a 10 000zl fine if you break the contract). It works out at 30zl/hour and it looks as though that's before tax is taken off (you should check with them to make sure).
You say accommodation is provided, but actually they subsidise it, up to maximums of either 175 or 300zl depending on how many hours you work. You'll probably be paying at least 700zl to share and 1000+ zl a month if you want a flat of your own.
I can more or less understand someone picking I-to-I or similar if they're going to China and can't easily organise everything at a distance, but Poland's a Ryanair flight away from the UK! If you arrive before the start of the school year with some sort of TEFL qualification and drop off your CV at 10-20 schools in your chosen city you'll almost certainly get a couple of decent offers.
Your choice, of course... |
