I've had a number of private messages asking me about which EF schools in Indonesia are the ones that may appear on a 'blacklist' should such a list be in existence.

Suprisingly enough the folk that do the recruiting through the EF training programme don't like to mention the hiring schools that are REALLY bad.

Over to us then.

Can anyone help out with some advice?

How well is that going to work, though? I've seen people make negative comments about a school that I worked for and I thought was just fine.

How are you going to distinguish the truthful reports from those that were written by a "disgruntled and bitter" ex-employee?

He he! If this thread hasn't been deleted by teatime (Jakarta) it will be a miracle. Mr Nordstrom seems to have some influence over uncle Dave.

I think the best way to be certain about any decision making when it comes to working for EF would be to have as many different opinions to hand.

By throwing open the floodgates here I think everyone should be capable enough of forming their own opinions without it becoming a slur on the corporation that is EF.

I for one couldn't care less about the business side of running a school but I do care about the wellbeing of other teachers.

As I'm sure Mr Sperling would agree and that is the reason this thread is still here awaiting your contributions.

Are you the same guy who was asking about International School requirements? If so, why all the interest in EF?

Basically - International/national plus - state school qualifications & several years experience

Some of the better language schools - esl qualifications & esl experience

EF - have a pulse

See which one best suits you and you'll be paid & treated accordingly.

Simple.

This is incorrect and outdated information. Stipulation now is that so long as they are still warm the lack of a pulse can be disregarded.
