Anyone have any experiences with this place? I'm seriously thinking of taking a job there. |

I have not personally worked there but I did live in Dalian for quite a few years. DMU is probably the best regarded uni in the city if not the province. I have met some people who taught there and never heard any complaints. The admin seemed professional and has worked with foreigners for a while so I wouldn't expect any unpleasant surprises beyond those China offers as a whole.
Let me know if you want more info on the city itself.
(The I-55 on Gao Er Ji Lu has a great western breakfast!) |

rwp...I had friends who worked at Maritime and were very happy there. We, who were trapped in a pretty messed-up employment (and living) situation at that time, all envied them terribly. The pay wasn't the highest in Dalian but the job definitely seemed one of the most pleasant.
And James...yes the Sunday brunch is great as long as the pancakes don't run out or some Chinese clan doesn't pitch into it leaving the buffet table a mess |
