I would really like to change from my current ALT job to another (non-teaching) job. I have significant employment experience and qualifications, but I don't see many jobs advertised that aren't teaching. Has anyone used a recruiting service in Japan? Any good/bad/other stories or suggestions for services? PM me if you don't want to post here. I have managed to pick up some extracurricular Business English classes, but I would like to get away from the teaching if possible.
Don't get me wrong, I love the teaching and the students! However, having 3 classes a week at my JHS is just about killing me with boredom, and there are only so many innovative activities one can produce outside of class time.
