Hello. I'm new to this, so sorry if this is an obvious question. I'm currently sending my resume to Japanese english teaching schools and read that I shouldn't send my resume as an attachment and just past it into the email. Well, I read that after sending my resume out as an attachment to all the places I wanted and I was just wondering if I did the wrong this. How can someone view your picture if the resume's not an attachment? Is this really a big deal? Thanks. |

If you are applying for jobs in Japan from outside of it, then (especially if you are applying to the Big 3 or 4) you might not really have to include a photo, unless they ask for it.
Computer viruses and other assorted bad things come as attachments to emails, and that's why most companies will simply delete the email rather than risk opening any attachments. |

Okay, I wont make that mistake again. So if I can't send my resume as an attachment, and some companies want photos, how should I send my photo? Is there some way I can include my photo in the message? Thanks. |

If you are using Outlook as your main email program you can create a new message, ensure that your cursor is in the body of the message and then do an Insert, Picture, browse to the photo and then click OK. It will then be embedded in the email. Good Luck |
