Hi to all those in the Oaxacan uni system. Are you all chambeando duro today?
How about others? Do you have to work today as a result of the recent 4 day weekend? It just doesn't feel right, being here on a saturday I mean. Even my super smart dog looked at my wife and I as we left this morning to work with a very confused look on her face. At first she was excited thinking we were setting out to the market together but when we turned on the road that does up tp the school she seemed very surprised. I didn't realise that she knew it was Saturday
Thank god no students have shown up yet for class today!

Oh yeah. Terrific. Confused

Attendance is very poor today, and I don't blame 'em for not coming in. As one student said to me, "If I go to school on Saturday, when am I gonna have time to wash my clothes?"

Laughing

I had very good attendance this morning. But I think that's due to some of the changes we've made recently. I imagine my 6pm class might be a different story, especially since it looks like rain Shocked .

I guess rainy season has started, yeah? A one-off shower might be normal from time to time, but here, we're getting it every day.

Hey, send some of that rain my way: except for a brief shower a couple of weeks ago, it hasn't rained since early December. A Vancouver-born lad like me just can't handle going without rain for that long!
