| Antarctica would be a good place I imagine. Japan and Korea where I have taught are not very good for allergy sufferers like us. |

Yep, it's that time of year again when the blossom comes out and the pollen and phlegm start flying... hello hayfever... can't say I've missed you over the winter!
Not much you can do about pollen, except go to a place with NO trees, parks or gardens - several northern industrial cities in China spring to mind. But if you're like me, if the pollen doesn't get you there, then the pollution will.
For mould allergies, you need a really nice, dry climate. Western China is good. Avoid the south east coast. When I lived in Guangzhou I had to keep dehumidifiers all over the apartment to stop the furnishings moulding up. |

Just to add a related question.....how readily available are antihistahmines. Do they have all types in Korea or just the basic drowsy type? |

I could only get the drowsy kinds in Japan, but at a fraction of the price that they are in Canada, a worthwhile trade-off. |
