If you have experience of teaching Bulats which books would you recommend? Also have you found there is much of difference between the computer test and the standard test? Have your students found one easier than the other?

It's why I asked. I think there must be some sort of marketing drive in Turkey. I have been asked by 3 different companies THIS WEEK if I can organise prep courses for it. Crying or Very sad

^ Merhaba dmb

I just took their interactive online sample test.

Looks to me like they're planning to give TOEIC a run for the money,

and with Cambridge ESOL behind them, it will be an interesting race.

I'm not sure about bulats, but the computerized standardized tests in the US, like the GRE, tend to present increasingly difficult questions, and end after a number of incorrect answers are given. It saves and enormous amount of time but Personally, I don't like them. I tend to do better on "difficult" questions (don't ask me why, maybe I focus better on tougher questions?) And I think the GRE computer test didn't let me show my best work.
Sorry, this may have nothing to do with the topic. Embarassed Laughing

Large companies in Europe used to use BULATS for their employees and potential employees, but now use the TOEIC. Add a zero at the end of your BULATS score and you'll have a TOEIC score. 65=650. Are they trying to get in or out of the EU?
