What's happened to all those promises that were made to the MLI teachers at those meetings prior to the Cert takeover?
What's happened to the "illustrious" MLI Co-Ordinators?
How has Cert convinced GHQ that these "changes" are really for their benefit?
Will the MLI teachers ever get their final settlements?

We'll take your questions one at a time.

MLI? What is this MLI? There is no MLI.

Coordinators? There are no coordinators. There were never any coordinators. There were some office lizards, but no coordinators.

Changes? Nothing has changed, and nothing will change.

MLI Teachers? There are no MLI teachers. There is no MLI.

(See MLI Limbo for discussions re. final settlements.)

Seriously, the MLI is fast becoming a dead horse, since there really *is* no MLI anymore. There may be, in the future, after CERT's 3-yr. contract with GHQ expires, but for now there is no MLI.

The last issue that unites former MLIers, former MLIars, and CERTaceans is the question of final settlement, which is being dealt with on MLI_Limbo -- where discussions don't get locked, expunged, or edited by the moderators, BTW. Wink

Glad to be of assistance.

the final mystery .....
when will all the teachers get their final settlements (as it's now coming up to the 6 months mark following the closure of MLI)?
Some settlements have been trickling out and some reports have been coming out that small amounts have been received by some teachers and other reports about people's files having been lost!
This is a crazy situation!!!!!

When expectations are so low, I guess everybody's happy with their settlement.

That's part of the problem with teachers in this profession. We've been beat down so much, we don't expect fairness anymore.

Bully for you BD - what a shame that there are many others still waiting or have received their settlements and have been underpaid!
When's the party BD and by the way, how long did you have to wait for your settlement to come through?

I can only hope that some of them are former coordinators.

Hey, did you hear that two of them are being fired from CERT/HCT? They have about three days left and then they're g-o-n-e.

And this after The Rodent got the heave-ho -- it's just TOO sad.
