Besides applying to the EMB for a NET position, are there any schools that hire qualified teachers direct from the job market?
Is there any chance of success of securing a teaching post by sending out speculative application letters and CVs?
Do local NETs (white faces with permanent HKID status) qualify for benefits (e.g., housing allowance)? |

Schools can find their own NETs and there are lots out there looking. If you look on pnets.org you will find PNETs who have put indicated that their school is looking for a suitably qualified person.
If you have a permanent ID you will have to prove that your residence is outside HK to qualify for the housing allowance. |
